So I realized today that it’s been TWO months since I posted about makeup. Yes, I still wear it, 5-6 days a week (I try to take one weekend day off from wearing eye makeup to give my eyes a break) I have to admit, I am really in a rut these days — and nothing in the spring makeup lines was really inspiring me … that is, until, I discovered that Physician’s Formula has a new makeup line called Organic Wear. While I was alerted to that by Oprah Magazine profiling the bronzer from that line, what really interested me was the 100% Natural Origin Tinted Moisturizer.
So, since it’s Earth Day this month, and just generally an environmental month, I am going to do a four part series on the Organic Wear line. I have not seen a ton of reviews for this online either, probably because it’s so new. What I am liking about the line is that it has EcoCert certification, which is hard to find in the U.S. Every product is paraben-free, does not appear to have harsh chemicals, or any other synthetic preservatives or color. Finally, it’s 100% cruelty free too!!
So today I picked up the tinted moisturizer, the pressed powder, the powder bronzer and a blush. I got them at CVS, and all the products retail for $11 to $15, and you get about twice the amount that you would in many other brands (low-, mid-, and high-end) so it’s great value from a price point perspective. Look for my reviews in the next few days.
