Beauty Monday – b spot – Benefit’s New Fragrance

I was hopeful that Benefit‘s new perfume, b spot, would be a fresh mango fragrance, without too much floral. When I first put it on I did get a very fresh mango fragrance, BUT it turned into hit-you-in-the-nose freesia. That said, if you like freesia you should definitely check this fragrance out. It’s a fresh and clean freesia.Very appropriate even at a conservative office.

Looking at the history of cosmetics, Benefit is likely one of the first brands to take makeup to a whimsical fun place. Started in 1976 by twin sisters as a boutique, the motto of the brand has always been “Who says makeup has to be serious to be good?”
