This is one of those posts where food and beauty intersect. If you are one of those people to whom that’s supremely weird, move on, but if you love the so-called gourmand scents, like Aquolina’s Pink Sugar adn the Philosophy line-up of scents, you may enjoy this post.
Until Fall 2005 I had never thought a scent named Pumpkin Pie a la Mode would even appeal to me, but, sure enough, three years later I love those scents. They are a nice change on the usual vanillas I favor, without being too far out so to speak. Ok, to some people they may seem far out.
At any rate, I don’t like Philosophy very much, so I turned to more indie bath and body companies for my gourmand scents. The indie bath and body company Coconut Hut has great pumpkin scents. Check out this post from my old blog. Coconut Hut has a Sweet Pumpkin Chai scent that smells a lot like Starbucks’s Pumpkin Latte, pictured above.
