The stress of the last week at work, combined with the changing weather, did a number on my skin. So this weekend I did a mask of 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 1 teaspoon honey, and 1 tablespoon sugar. I left it on about 5 minutes, then exfoliated as I was rinsing off. Sure enough my skin was back to glowing, and the slight breakouts cleared up within a couple of hours. Hi, hon! So sad that we just missed each other, but I’m probably going to be visiting NYC soon so we definitely have to hook up there!! The coffeeshop is actually called Columbia Heights Coffee, but it’s VERY small. I had brunch at The Diner next to Tryst and LOVED both places! It is quite crowded, but you probably have better luck there than at Columbia Heights. There’s also Busboys and Poets around U-Street and a new one opening at Mount Vernon Square if you want to try something new. Hope you find some much-needed bliss at TranquilSpace.
