I am a huge fan of all-natural soap bars (a.k.a. cold process soaps) that retain their natural glycerin, but I also like liquid hand soap. So far I have had the best luck with Burt’s Bees hand soaps – they are gentle and moisturizing. My latest favorite is their Milk and Shea Butter Hand Soap. I know that some of the reviews on drugstore.com tell you it’s drying, but it’s not been my experience – the milk powder and shea butter in it really do make a huge difference on my hands, and I find it even more moisturizing than my old standby, the Burt’s Bees Green Tea and Lemongrass Hand Soap. Also, I linked all these products from the drugstore.com website because they are having sales on all-natural products and special promotions on Burt’s Bees products. Picture by drugstore.com

I, too, enjoy this hand soap. When you look at the ingredients of your typical hand soaps, it makes you want to run for the hills.
I was afraid I would have a problem with the Milk & Shea Hand Soap, because I had my first reaction to a Burt's Bees product ever when I used the shea body wash. This soap, though, is gentle and I don't find it drying at all.
I think this will be my staple fall and winter soap by the sinks, as I really find the Green Tea/LG to be perfect for spring and summer. Thanks for this post…
I find myself going to BB over and over again. In fact, I just bought more shampoo and conditioner and "re-discovered" my love for them.
Thank you for the recommendation!

Karley — it really is a lovely soap. Like you, I keep coming back to Burt’s Bees.
Lavanya — so glad you found me. Yes I do post on the Cocoapink forum. I recently created a new account as City Girl there.
