I am a huge fan of Bobbi Brown Shimmerbricks – depending on which shade you use, they can be a blush, eyeshadow and highlighter. This latest one, Platinum, is not quite as versatile. It’s very pretty and if you need a highlighter, it’s wonderfully neutral – no silver or golden undertones. The shimmer is not too heavy either, which is one of my favorite things about those shimmerbricks – you get the sculptured look of a highlighter without too much shimmer. You definitely need a blush under the Platinum Shimmerbrick, but you could also use it as a very sheer eyeshadow. That said, if you are in the market for only one shimmerbrick, I would get the Copper Diamonds one from a few months ago. It’s still available and more versatile. Picture from Bobbi Brown website.

Is it bad that I want it simply because I collect all shimmerbricks? LOL. I need another highlighter like I need a hole in the head…but still, I think I’m going to have to get this. Thanks for the review.
