Happy Sunday – it was gorgeous today so I got in a nice long walk with several fun stops, including a manicure-pedicure, some shopping for gifts at Biagio, which is an amazing chocolate store (I love their stuff), and then a stop to read and work while eating a waffle at Locolat Cafe.
Even though I was shopping for gifts at Biagio, I couldn’t resist picking up one of my favorite chocolate bars in the whole world – Theo 3400 Phinney Bread and Chocolate Bar. It’s a great combination of dark chocolate, breadcrumbs and just the right amount of salt. It may sound crazy, but it is so good – you get the crunch of a pain au chocolat with a lot less pain and a lot more chocolat. The flavors are very intense and delicious. And the packaging is just adorable.
I also stopped at Hana – it’s a fairly new Japanese grocery store a block from Locolat Cafe – it may seem tiny but they carry 750 different products. And they have one of my favorite brands of green tea. So now I am home, catching up on more things, and enjoying dark chocolate and green tea. Happy Sunday!
