Start by putting on your TranquiliT All-in-One wrap, or other favorite super-comfortable summer dress.
Then, combine, in your preferred order:
*Lunch at Oyamel or other new-to-you restaurant {husband suggested Oyamel and it was a great choice}
*Lots of giggling {I love that husband does not mind my happy grinning and giggling}
*Discovering the Wagamama‘s phenomenon is coming to Washington, DC
*A stroll through Penn Quarter, with a stop at Teaism for an iced tea {it would have helped if they had not been out of most iced teas, but I still think it’s part of the recipe}
*Barnes and Noble time, including use of a gift card {I bought the Vegan Soul Kitchen for dairy-free recipe inspiration and Julia Child’s My Life In France in paperback}
*Go home, get into bed with your laptop and your new books {and perhaps, order on Amazon the books that you were originally looking for but which BN did not have}
*Relish the thought of a happy afternoon and giving into your book cravings {last time I bought a book was in April}
Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. My day of errands and appointments yesterday was much shorter than expected, which meant I got to indulge in at-home-puttering-time and napping yesterday, leaving me lots of energy to indulge in a Sunday afternoon out.
