I reread Julie & Julia recently in anticipation of seeing the movie – I had first read it before I began blogging, and I have to say I loved it even more now – especially her discussion of how she learns from her readers and commenters.
I am really excited about the movie coming out next week. Here are some fun links related to the movie:
*The New York Times had a great piece yesterday on the perils, heartaches and complications of food-styling for the movie.
*Food Blogga wrote about attending a promotional event for the movie and how she initially discovered the book Julie & Julia.
*The Julie & Julia official movie website has a blog section with different food blogs featured every day (including Food Blogga! Congratulations!)
*The Epicurious blogger wrote about 10 likable and 3 less likable things in the movie.
*MyRecipes.com has a great feature on easy French cooking.

Gosh I read this book AGES ago when it first came out. I think I need to re-read before I see the movie!
ooh- enjoyed the links! Thanks! I can't wait for the movie- but I am wondering whether I should read the book. Would reading the book add to or detract from the movie. Basically- will I enjoy the movie more if I read the book or if I don't?..lol
