Dear 27 year Christine,
No one takes better care of you, than you. When people say “they don’t know what they want” it means they don’t want you, it’s the truth, it hurts but move on, you will be OK, don’t hang around thinking you can change them, you can’t, stop wasting LIFE.
Also, Mothers really do know best. I don’t know how they do it, there must be a special gene inside them, but it’s true, so stop fighting it.

oh wow, this one hits really close to home for me. i went through very similar feelings when i was going through my separation/divorce. when my ex said he didn't know what he wanted… well, ya know!!
