What Do I Wish To Learn? {Wishcasting Wednesday}

by Valerie on September 10, 2009 · 13 comments

I have been following Jamie Ridler’s Wishcasting Wednesdays for a while, and decided to jump in this week. The question was so apropos of back to school so I took out my happy new pens tonight and wrote the following:

I wish to learn:

* to be more patient {I have no idea why people think I am patient}
* to be brave instead of fearful
* to go outside my comfort zone more {people always tell me I am doing that, but in many ways I am not}
* to play tennis
* to be in the moment more
* to have more hope
* to apply Modge Podge without making a mess
* to have time to have a manicure every single week again

You can see that my list ranged from the very mundane to the difficult.

As City Girl wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

I love your wishes. Especially the ones about modge podge and manicures.

It is so nice to see you Wishcasting. Welcome! As City Girl wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

Great wishes. Living in the moment is exactly what I aim for each day.

I wish the same things for you as well.

That is so strange- even I sort of got the feeling that you were a very patient person..:)

Hope all your wishes come true. (And what exactly does modge podge mean? I caught the term while browsing through Journal Bliss at B&N, the other day, and in your journal post. I can guess what it might mean but am not sure exactly..lol)

Aw…you really are patient! And I wish we could play tennis together – I was on my high school's varsity team but didn't keep up with it, and I really want to start playing again! :)

Oh, your wishes are beautiful and as you wish for yourself, I wish for you too!

It sounds like, based on several of your wishes, that you would THOROUGHLY benefit from a creative art + yoga retreat!!! : ) silky Hart and Tracy Carruth are hosting one next May that is going to be PHENOMENAL.

I love this idea. It also seems like a great list – very reflective of different areas in your life. I may well try this – I have a bit more freedom in my writing now. (More about that the next time I post).
