Yesterday, thanks to the magic of Zipcar, husband and I were off to the suburbs. I heart Zipcar, because it means that when we have a long (and I mean long) stack of errands, we can zip off, get them done AND, as a complete treat, hit Michael’s at the end of the trip. The day was a lovely change of pace.

These Zipcars and similar programs are so great. I live in downtown Chicago, and though I have a car due to the need to lug samples all over the country (I'm an interior designer)I see the Zipcars get priority parking in garages. It makes total sense and if I'm ever able I'd definitely love to join!
Yay i'm SO glad you got a day of fun!!
I am seriously debating whether I want to bring my car in Michigan back to D.C. or sell it and simply rely on Zipcars. Do you find that a car is available whenever you need it? Are you able to use it for impromptu moments or does it require several days of notice? And as it relates to cost???
