Happy World Nutella Day 2009! The brainchild of Bleeding Espresso and Ms. Adventures in Italy, World Nutella Day is designed to celebrate the chocolate hazelnutty goodness of this yummy spread across the blogosphere.
Last year I waxed nostalgic about Nutella eating as I was growing up in Switzerland. Now I am just plain nostalgic about Nutella because of my more restricted diet these day but instead of boring you with that, let’s talk instead about new-to-me Nutella innovations. I am visiting my family in Switzerland this week, and look what I spied:

This is my kind of holiday, LOL! My fondest Nutella memory to date: A few weeks ago we went to our favorite place for brunch and one of their specials was a Nutella and bacon French toast – it was to die for. Happy World Nutella Day!
