I flew back to Washington, DC from Switzerland this past Sunday, and now am looking out my window near Dupont Circle and seeing yet more snow. I do not remember this much snow since growing up in Switzerland or in college in Massachusetts. Heck, when I lived in New York City I saw less snow. I am slowly catching up with life here. Husband and I were originally supposed to fly back on Friday, but flights were cancelled both Friday and Saturday. We made it back on Sunday, which is good, because that same flight was cancelled Monday, Tuesday and again today. I know I have been quieter on the blog than usual, but I promise lots of pictures and new posts in upcoming weeks. In the meantime, here are more pictures from Sunday for the last few minutes of the flight before landing back at Washington, DC Dulles:

Welcome home. I felt the same way, flying back to Chicago. Spoke with my cousin who is also an attorney in D.C. and he's loving it for all the work he can do with no one else in his office!
I miss Switzerland, and hope you had a lovely trip!

Cool photos! Glad you're back safely
I remember the first year that I moved to D.C. We received 18 inches of snow within 24 hours over President's Day weekend…and then it kept on snowing for a couple of extra days inching our total to around 24 inches. I honestly thought that when I left the Midwest, I also left the snow behind. Ha!
That is a really cool picture!
