Look what I saw today at the market:
I love pinkness – while I have not had a strong pink phase lately, I had to buy these beans for their pretty pinkness:
How cute are they?
Now, I just need to figure out what to make with them. Google has some ideas, but I was curious to hear of any of your favorites. I am thinking these beans will be about as labor intensive as fava beans, which I skipped this year when they were in season for just this reason. I did briefly think of making a fava bean puree though, and I am wondering these pretty pink beans will take to being pureed.
How often do you pick up a new-to-you ingredient at the market?

I saw these on Thursday at the White House Farmer's Market, but I steered clear of them since I had no idea what they were! Can't wait to see what you do with them!
