I am determined to not have another weekly recap which is actually three weeks’ worth – so even though this week is half over, here is a recap for last week and the week before.
Let’s start with the week before last and what I managed to fit into my free time:
- 3 yoga classes (including 2 7am ones), 1 restorative yoga class (much needed), 3 jaunts to the gym to use the elliptical
- Attended Take Back Your Health and shared my thoughts, while also getting to catch up and spend time with the lovely Gena
- Made grain-free vegan Rustic Cranberry Pumpkin Spice Biscotti
- Dinner at Café Green with my husband as well as Sunday lunch at Shophouse (must.write.review on the later)
Last week was even more jam-packed at work, but I did fit in the following:
- 4 7am gym jaunts to use the elliptical (I had to be at work far earlier in the day most of last week, so 7am yoga was not an option most days) and 2 late afternoon yoga classes
- The lovely Carolyn of Hang On Little Tomato was in town to attend the End Factory Farming Conference – we met up for yoga and catching up, which was wonderful. Carolyn has written two amazing blog posts about her experience attending the conference here and here
- Also caught up with dear friend who is about to give birth to her first child in a few days
- Met up with Julie (aka REM Runner) and Jessica (who just opened Chakras Reflexology & Spa) – we met at the Art Journaling workshop we all attended in July. It was lovely to journal and catch up with these two fabulous ladies. We had so much fun we forgot to take pictures. Julie, however, kindly agreed to let me use the above picture of one of her Halloween pumpkins instead – isn’t it lovely? It was part of a virtual pumpkin patch she sponsored on her blog
- Attended Moop pop-up shop hosted by Hemphill in Washington, DC – I am now even more obsessed with the brand
