Happy Wednesday! I had a whole post in my head about going to BodyPump for the first time a couple of weeks ago with a friend and support when one makes lifestyle changes, but it is late after a very long day, so I will save that for another day. In the meantime, let us talk about amazing chocolate. During my brief jaunt to New York (see, recap, part 1; part 2 is still in the works), I picked up these Righteously Raw chocolates at Whole Foods. I had a feeling I would like them seeing as I like most vegan raw chocolates and I love Gnosis chocolate, which sounded similar to Righteously Raw.
That said – the texture of Righteously Raw is even more impressive than I expected. Unlike most raw chocolates, where you know you are eating raw chocolate because the texture tends to be a bit meltier, these chocolates felt like standard solid dark chocolate. And the flavors were amazing. The caramel bar was delicious dark chocolate stuffed with a nice layer of caramel made from dates, agave and lucuma. And the maca bar is like a dense truffle, with a date and golden raisin filling accented with maca. While both tasted like dark chocolate, they were not intensely dark chocolates, which was also a nice change. Bottom line, amazing and completely worth tracking down to try. I cannot wait to try the other kinds – especially since they are all vegan and gluten-free and refined-sugar free, as well as non-GMO and all sorts of other good stuff, as you can see from their website .
With that I am off to make a batch of hummus and get some sleep.

We can’t buy anything like this in the UK! These bars sound “healthy”!
Oh, I need to find these!
